YAKUDO-KAN, has entered its 15th year, and to commemorate this milestone, I have changed our logo for the first time!

Thinking back to my university days, it’s amazing how far I have come from the characters of ‘躍動館’ hastily scrawled in ink on the edge of leftover paper from calligraphy class.

So far, only the Japanese pages featured calligraphy fonts while the English pages used Adobe fonts.
However, as mentioned in my aspirations, I wanted to create an English font based on the Kanteiryu (Edo script) style, so I gave it a shot.

You can switch between Japanese and English from the top right corner of the site, so please take a look and compare!

It is a gardening style that mimics the environment of the native habitat on a pot.

Dry gardens,” gardens that reproduce the native environment by planting arid-zone plants that can overwinter in the ground, have been popular among Japanese rare plant enthusiasts for some time now.

This can be seen as an even more miniature version of such a garden.

Hello.
I made Gecko Hand of Japanese traditional design style.
The Japanese refer to the challenges that must be resolved in order to achieve a goal as “kabe” (walls).
We want to climb that high wall as easily as a gecko. I designed the pattern with this wish in mind.

I remember being surprised when I first saw pictures of Whiteout Oreos in my early 20s.

People often refer to it as a cow print, but since I was already in the aquarium world at the time, I was shocked, “That’s a super high-end Hypancistrus!” .
The blue eyelids and the tip of the tail are also…SO GOOD!

I completed pet gecko trio.

And now I have the pet gecko trio of Leopard Gecko, Crested Gecko, and African Fattail Gecko in my room.
Only African Fattail Gecko has a slightly higher electric cost. I will earn it.


As soon as I returned home, I wrote a morph using the Procreate app and designed the African Fattail Gecko Senja-fuda.
