Hello!
I bought
Bambu Lab A1 MINI Combo.
At some point, several of my followers on social media started buying 3D printers. I thought it was crazy, so I checked and found that they were on sale for up to 40% less than the original price.
I found myself buying it too.
Beautiful appearance as if brought from the world of science fiction.
Doesn’t it look like it will appear in Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory?
When printing, this yellow mark spins around. It is too stylish!
CINEMA 4D
I created the model in CINEMA 4D. I used a 3D printer in the mid-2010s. However, at the time, it was a very difficult piece of equipment that often resulted in modeling failures due to various problems such as shrinkage, stringiness, cracking, and misalignment of the print.
I wanted to avoid output failures from the start, so I started with simple designs, excluding those with tight overhangs and those prone to errors.
Let’s go printing!
In the course of my research, I learned that a filament dryer has recently been developed to dry filaments that have absorbed moisture.
My house is full of aquariums and the humidity is always over 60%. This is necessary. I will buy it.
I need a vacuum pack to store the dried filaments and silica gel for professional use. I will buy it.
I need plastic modeling tools again that I gave away to a friend from school. I will buy them.
I also need a file to prepare the surface of the modeling object. I will buy it.
Amazon Prime Day Sale is scary.
I spent more than 100,000 yen in the end, and I can’t allow it to be left in the drawer. I must output them as soon as possible!
by the way
Did you know that modern 3D printers do poop?
……..
……..
Poop.
In the process of making multi-color printing possible, there is a need to automate all filament loading/reloading, and the filaments filled from the extruder to the nozzle are discharged before printing.
It is exactly the same as poop, right down to the mechanism.
Let’s look at the output.
Output completed! Fast! Perfect dimensions!
At first, they made smaller products so that they would not be depressed if they failed. However, these appeared before us in just under 20 minutes. It was tremendous!
Prototype 6mm air piping fixing parts
Nature aquarium and pardarium are my hobbies.
The area around the aquarium stand is a mess of Co2 addition, aeration, various filters, power cords, etc. I was having a hard time finding a way to organize them.
I was having a hard time finding a way to organize them all, but then I thought, “Well, I can just make one! I thought, “Well, I can make it!
Baby cricket feeding dish with handle
I used to use the bottle lids upside down. I used a cutter to scratch around it so that baby crickets could climb on it. Still a little big. Hard to hold. Wasted food. So I made it.
Hmmm. Maybe still a little big and deep after placing the output product. The crickets’ feet don’t catch on the laminated surface very well because the printing was cleaner than I imagined, and they also slide off quite often.
As you can see, there is still room for improvement of course, but from modeling to output is almost nonstressful. It’s a great time!
summary
When I first used a 3D printer about 10 years ago, I couldn’t shake the feeling that it was for super hybrid super-humans with the following qualities: mechanical design x mechanism design x machine construction x programming x modeling ability x ability to spend an initial investment from 300,000 and unrelenting maintenance costs. I experienced considerable frustration.
Ten years later, I still need basic knowledge of design and the minimum modeling skills to measure the necessary dimensions and incorporate them into the data, but I still feel that it has become much more accessible. The sophisticated appearance, modeling speed, and quality are astonishing.
There are many things I want to make, so I will upload photos and videos as soon as I make something in the future. If I judge that there is no problem in terms of strength, I plan to sell or distribute the output products or data.
